A Night of Radical Collaboration: Working together towards “Greener” pastures - BusinessBoomer.com

Hunter Lovins at Radical CollaborationLast Thursday the 20th, after months of preparation, the star aligned, figuratively and literally for our event, Radical Collaboration, co-presented with our new collaborators, GenGreen Life and Creative Citizen. Just days before, all three of our new green mobile apps premiered on both iPhone and Google's Android platforms.

Roughly 200 people packed San Francisco's greenest nightclub, Temple, and any doubt that this would be more then just another networking event was erased when Hunter Lovins took the stage. With her powerful, funny, informed presence, she grounded the audience in the importance, no, urgence of collaborating together to make the much needed progress on the pressing environmental issues facing us, via the most agile tool on the planet: business.

As Business Boomer put it:

Rather than compete against each other, companies GenGreen, 3rdWhale, and Creative Citizen combined forces to provide a night that inspired teamwork. Guests at the event supported the idea that working together is imperative if we want to reverse the strain human beings have placed on this planet. There is no time to lose on unnecessary competition.

After Hunter's presentation, the CEOs of all three of our organizations hit it home why and how collaboration can happen. Following that, we were all invited upstairs to record a short video on what collaboration means to us and why it's important. Coming soon to a desktop near you.

We at 3rdWhale are so pleased so many of you came out and actively created new possibilities for greater good being accomplished. We ourselves connected with many great organizations, with projects soon to be announced.
